I would like to propse a toast...

I really need to learn to just relax sometimes. I have this habit of overcompensating and making excuses and apologizing. Just let it be, deeter. Just let it be. Good people come into your life for a reason. Especially after crappy things happen to you. Just let it be, for the love of God.

Today is Fat Tuesday. It kinda crept up on me this year. I've decided to really try to cut down on my cursing. The word FUCK in particular. Until very, very recently, I have been able to turn off the crazy-cursing-all-the-time part of me whenever I wanted to. The last couple of weeks? Not so much. I realized it was a problem when I accidentally dropped said F-bomb in class twice in two days last week. Never to a professor, both times were to another student either before class or during small group discussion time. Both times were loud enough for the professor to hear though. Whoop. So yes. If you hear me drop the F-Bomb in the next 40 days, call me out on it. Also, I'm going to limit my use of other words (hell, damn, bitch) but not cut them out entirely. I mean, I do have an image to keep up and expectation to meet. POLICE ME PEOPLE. (btw, writing fuck in a blog entry does NOT count.)

I found out today I've got to make some particular post graduation life decisions in the next 2 weeks. Technically, I probably have 3 weeks, but I've decided to push myself and to be on top of things. Of course, the decisions aren't entirely contingent on me. There are outside parties affecting my choices. If I get bogged down, I'll post my options and ask for input. Or, if you have input and you read this, tell me!

Along those lines...do people actually read this. I know of 1-2 people who I'm pretty sure do, but other than that I have no flipping clue. I won't demand that you leave me a comment, but if you read this, will you comment??? Sweet.

Pictures of the day? My puppies Maggie and Bailey. I miss them.

I read!

And, the Martin's on 23 (aka the Martin's closest to campus) has the blood oranges! They're kinda hard to spot, but sooo worth the detective work!!

i have a blog for poetry (which i haven't updated in forever), but i'm a livejournal (http://brightlyburning.livejournal.com/) person for my actual journal.

sometimes i still wonder what my grade would have been in that class. i took it pass/fail and i kind of want to know whether i should kick myself in the ass for doing so. haha.
